Custom Theme Ordering

Here I will guide you through the Custom Theme ordering process and show how the final sample theme would look like.

At first we take a look how to fill out the form correctly:

1. I start by filling the basic information. Then I choose a picture that I like to use in the theme. Before uploading it, I crop it to 360 x 640 px and make it a little bit lighter with a graphics software.

The picture should be at least the same size that your phone resolution is (usually 240 x 320 px for 3rd edition devices and 360 x 640 px for 5th edition devices). It should also have a same aspect ratio that your phone have, so the edges of  the picture don’t get cut out.

If you need some basic help with the picture, (usually with cropping, brightness, contrast or saturation), tick the ‘Picture customization’ box and define the wishes in ‘Additional Information’ field. Note that this is intended only for quick and basic editing. if you need more advanced options, those can be executed with extra fee.

2. Because the picture I use is fairly light colored, I then choose that I want the theme overall coloring  to be light with dark texts.

Remember that this choice will be affecting to all the decisions you make in next steps. So because I choose to have light background & windows, all the theme pop-ups, calendar, call window etc. will now be light colored. And because there needs to be enough contrast so the texts are readable, all the texts in the theme will be dark colored.

3. Because I choose to have dark colored text, I look at the samples and decide to have black texts on my theme.

When choosing the text color, try to think which color would look good and be readable (i.e. have a high contrast) with the picture you are using.

4. Because I choose to have light colored windows, I look at the samples and decide to have blue windows on my theme.

Try to think which color would look good with the picture and text color you are using.

5. Then I decide which highlight color I like to have. I look at the samples to see which color would look good with the picture, text and windows colors I choose and decide to use gray / silver highlights.

Note that the highlight darkness is always the same, no matter what overall lightness / darkness settings you are using. Looking at the samples you can preview how the highlight would look with light or dark background.

6. I then define that I’m an individual customer and the theme will be for my personal use only. At the same time I verify that my order is genuine and I’m willing to purchase the theme after the order is checked by admin to ensure that everything is OK. If I like to have more advanced theme customization like detailed picture editing, different kind of windows or highlights etc, I could also order them with extra fee.

With this field I can also define that I represent a company, website or similar and like to share the theme and / or use it for commercial purposes. If you choose this option, I will contact you so we can discuss about the details to find the best solution to suit for your purposes. With this service model the more advanced customization options are of course also available.

7. I have Paypal so I check that option for payment method.

• For Finnish customers (because I live in Finland) there is also an option for wire transfer.
• If you represent a company or similar, other payment methods might also be possible.

8. If I like to add some additional info for the order, like wishes for basic / advanced customizations or information about the company I represent, this is the place to do so.

Please describe your wishes as detailed as possible to ensure good results.

9. Finally, check that you have filled all the fields correctly. Then (if you haven’t all ready) read the terms of service and send the form.

1. Individual customers:

After the form is sent, I check that everything is OK with the order and will contact you by email. I also inform you if something needs to be changed. I will add a copy of the order to the email, so you can make sure that every color choices etc. are as they should be. At this point we can also discuss about the optional advanced customizations.

When both of us agree that the order is OK, you pay the theme and I will design it after the payment is received. When the theme is ready, I will send you the sis-file. The overall process should usually take a less than a week.

2. Other customers

I will contact you so we can discuss about the order and what kind of services I can offer based on your needs. The overall process will vary, depending on the type of services you like to have.
