West Route TP update fix

For some reason I released wrong version of the West Route TP theme during the last update. Only the new home screen was transparent, but not the other elements like dialer.

Thanks for letting me know about it and I’m really sorry for this extra hassle. The fixed version is now uploaded to the Gallery.

(note that this concerns only the transparent (TP) version of the West Route theme)

West Route updated

After the Nokia 5800 XM firmware got updated to version 40 I finally had access to the new 5th edition home screen with email and music buttons. Therefore I’m going to update some of my themes, starting from the newest.

So, all three versions of the West Route are now updated.

The light colored bar which indicates that you have click a highlighted item is replaced (this occur at least on 5800′s fw 40).

There are also two new home screens:

• Basic version has now semi-transparent buttons on new home screen

• Transparent version (TP) has fully transparent buttons now also on new home screen

• 3rd edition version has remain unchanged

Note: when you install the new version, the old one will be replaced. So please use e.g. the default theme during installation (or the phone can’t uninstall the old version).

West Route

Finally some new material..!

This theme is part of a project I did recently. So that’s why the source of the wallpaper (www.mitts.fi) is different than usual and here’s also available 3 slightly different versions of the theme, as you can see from the picture:

• Basic version, suits best for S60 5th edition
• Version with transparent buttons e.g. on dialer, calculator and home screen. Suits best for S60 5th edition
• Version without semi-transparent pop-up. Suits better for S60 3rd editions, which doesn’t always support transparent elements. But can be used as well on S60 5th edition

The theme have full SVG-elements. Wallpaper is photographed by Håkan Mitts, Icons are made by Blue_Ray and Clock by Dhanusaud.

Oh, by the way… At the moment I’m exploring how to get the most out of my new toy, the Nokia N900. So you can expect some themes also for the Maemo 5 in the future, as soon as I get used to the new platform
